Your safety is our highest priority. We carry pulse ox meters, stethoscopes, and expedition first aid kits on all treks and Portable Altitude Chamber for Crater Camp. All guides are certified High Altitude First Responder, certified Emergence Wilderness Medicine and have high altitude experience.

Our prices are generally mid-range. We don’t compete with the cheap Kilimanjaro climb and safari companies on price because we don’t want to compromise your comfort, safety, and enjoyment, nor the wages and health of our guides and porters. On the other hand, we are far from the most expensive companies because we do not have the high overhead of American and European based tour operators. We are a Tanzanian locally owned company helping our clients enjoy the beauty and excitement of our country and helping invest in the people of Tanzania.

We take care in ensuring all the equipment we use on Kilimanjaro and camping safaris are very high quality and maintained to the very highest standards to ensure that it will survive the rigors of the mountain.

Our professionally trained cooks serve up the best cuisine on Kilimanjaro, using the freshest and highest quality ingredients. On your climb, you’ll enjoy hot meals daily as well packed lunches. The food, specifically selected to help your climb, has a good taste, is high in carbohydrates (energy) and is easily digestible. For vegetarian and non-vegetarian or if you have any special requirement, let us know and we will organize for you. You may bring supplementary ‘comfort’ foods, such as candy, gum, chocolate, energy bars or powdered energy drinks. Guides and porters are some of the least paid workers in our society. We pay more value to the efforts of our guides and the porters. As we know they are the real players and take the maximum responsibility during hiking and game viewing. When many other trekking operators take advantage of the poverty of the guides and the porters by paying them lower than the minimum, we pay them more than their expectation. Trust that we pay at least twice the average local salary from the fees you pay us without charging you more.
